Senior Fullstack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a ground-floor opportunity on an early engineering team at an AI-native fintech SaaS company building modern financial planning and analysis software. You will work closely with technical leadership to design and ship features that have a direct, meaningful impact on the product and the finance teams who rely on it every day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap.
• Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end to end.
• Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack.
• Help establish engineering best practices that lay the foundation for a high-performing team culture.
• Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to continuously improve the product.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year contributing to system design or architecture.
• Full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
• Strong experience building frontends with React; balanced full-stack or strongly frontend-focused backgrounds are a great fit.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience using MongoDB as an application database.
• Experience with BigQuery for data analytics and querying large datasets.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable owning ambiguous problems and delivering end-to-end solutions independently.
• Strong collaboration skills with senior technical leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work remotely from the Americas and thrive in a distributed team environment.
• Interest in AI-focused product engineering is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: $150,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

Fully remote, open to candidates based in Canada or the United States.
