Founders Associate - Sales

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a generalist, high-ownership role sitting directly alongside the founders of an early-stage B2B SaaS company in the clean energy sector. You will be the connective tissue across sales, growth, and operations, helping drive revenue and build the internal foundations that allow the company to scale across European markets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and execute the sales playbook, including outreach to decision-makers and pursuit of new B2B revenue opportunities.
• Design and implement internal operational processes to keep day-to-day work running smoothly.
• Support customer success efforts and help retain and grow existing accounts.
• Coordinate recruiting processes and help attract strong candidates as the team grows.
• Jump into ambiguous, cross-functional problems and drive them to resolution quickly.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 1 year of experience at a high-growth startup, investment bank, venture capital fund, strategy consulting firm, or equivalent high-performance environment, with a strong academic background as an alternative entry point.
• Demonstrated ability to build and run B2B sales processes from scratch, including CRM and sales automation tooling.
• Native or bilingual German and fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment with undefined scope, rapid iteration, and shifting priorities.
• Relentless drive, high energy, and a competitive mindset focused on hitting ambitious targets.
• Bonus: prior exposure to product, growth, marketing, strategy, or operations functions.
• Bonus: familiarity with clean energy, battery storage, or commercial and industrial energy markets in Europe.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base salary: 65,000 to 85,000 EUR annually
• Equity: VSOP or equity package included with standard vesting schedule
• Visa sponsorship: Not available

LOCATION

On-site in Berlin, Germany (Hamburg or Kiel also considered). This is a fully on-site role.
