WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Plumbing Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems while helping homeowners understand what is happening and what needs to happen next.
- Diagnose and repair leaks, fixtures, toilets, faucets, garbage disposals, and water-pressure problems
- Clear drain stoppages and identify sewer-line concerns
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain standard and tankless water heaters
- Work with gas piping, water-quality equipment, and other residential plumbing systems
- Identify safety, code, and performance concerns
- Explain findings and appropriate options clearly and without pressure
- Deliver a respectful, professional customer experience on every call
- Maintain accurate service documentation, estimates, and invoices
- Communicate with dispatch, management, and the rest of the team
- Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked
- Participate in the on-call rotation and ongoing training
- Follow company safety, quality, and plumbing-code standards
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Three years of residential plumbing service experience requested, but not required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of residential plumbing systems and safe work practices
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements
- Dependable, self-motivated, and ready to be part of a team
- Commitment to quality workmanship and doing the right thing
- Relevant licenses, certifications, apprenticeships, or manufacturer training are a plus
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
