Why you want to work for our Professional Services team

Our Professional Services team is dedicated to our customers in ensuring they are successful and happy in the Accruent products they purchase. You will help our clients map a path to the Accruent platform to solve their overarching business problems. We are looking for highly motivated, fast moving, and dynamic individuals to help implement and deliver our world class platform solutions.

The Senior Consultant will be responsible for understanding the customers’ business requirements and delivering them value by transforming these into product solutions using Accruent’s complex enterprise software. You will be an expert in our products(s) and guide the customer on best practices while also proactively offering them improvements.

With extensive customer interaction, you will need excellent communication skills both verbally and written, communicating with different stakeholders externally and internally. This will require a highly self-motivated person who can excel with juggling multiple competing customer engagements, understanding priority and executing with precision and speed. You will need to be able to lead smaller engagement, whilst also working with Project Managers and other Consultants on larger projects.

Much of this role will be application configuration, however it will also involve data transformation and business analysis, including Customer Training and documentation. Many customers require on-site support, so travel and time at customer locations will be part of your responsibilities.

This position reports directly to the Manager, Professional Services and will be located at Brisbane, Australia.

How you'll make a difference

• Willingly travel to our customer locations to deliver on-site training and consulting services for the Accruent product families. Adhere to Accruent travel policies and expense allotments
• Proven ability to successfully balance multiple projects
• Serve as a primary point of contact for our PS engaged customer base, supporting their enquires and adhering to the Accruent policies and ways of working
• Work with project team to understand objectives, collect requirements, configure the software application, test and train end users
• Become a subject matter expert, providing a valuable resource of truth to support both Customer and othe Accruent teams
• Deliver clear and easy class instructions, communicate difficult concepts well, and maintain professional presentation skills
• Independent and self-motivated, with a high level of focus on customer delivery

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience with implementing software technology
• 5+ years Consultant experience within CMMS or EDMS software
• Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and consulting skills
• Ability to solve problems creatively and independently and drive for results
• Ability to translate customer business requirements into business solutions
• Experience with all phases of a client software implementation lifecycle, including initial needs analysis, project administration, software installation, onsite training, systems troubleshooting, and ongoing account management
• Track record of capitalizing upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships is a plus
• Experience managing resources and commitments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
