This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora BackEnd Python/NodeJs Especialista I (Venda Direta) based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to build high-impact backend solutions within a digital product squad focused on Direct <Sales.You> will work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud technologies, and Generative AI to solve complex business challenges.The position combines hands-on development with technical leadership, architectural thinking, and continuous <improvement.You> will design performant, scalable services while helping reduce technical debt and maintain high engineering standards.Your work will directly support sales teams and contribute to measurable business KPIs through innovative digital <experiences.You> will collaborate closely with product and engineering peers in an agile, multi-language environment.The role is ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys autonomy, experimentation, and solving complex problems with a broad systems perspective.

Accountabilities

Act as a technical reference within a digital product squad, helping solve complex problems, guide technical decisions, and reduce technical debt.
Design and develop robust backend solutions using Python and/or Node.js, prioritizing performance, simplicity, maintainability, code quality, and user experience.
Build and validate Proofs of Concept (PoCs) involving Generative AI and emerging technologies.
Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain strong quality standards throughout the software lifecycle.
Conduct code reviews and participate in Pair Programming to promote engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.
Monitor application usage, errors, performance, and stability through effective observability practices, including accurate data tagging.
Identify opportunities to optimize existing systems, evolve technical solutions, and maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation.
Participate actively in technical and product decisions, taking ownership of challenges and proposing pragmatic solutions aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate transparently with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to resolve problems and deliver valuable solutions.
Develop Generative AI solutions designed to support Direct Sales teams and improve relevant business KPIs.

Requirements

Strong practical experience developing backend applications with Node.js and/or Python.
Hands-on experience with the complete automated testing pyramid, including unit, integration, and E2E testing.
Experience with code-quality analysis tools such as Sonar.
Experience working with relational databases, including RDS, as well as non-relational databases such as DocumentDB and DynamoDB.
Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, Secrets Manager, and ElastiCache for Redis.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka and SQS.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Experience implementing application logs, metrics, distributed tracing, monitoring, and observability practices.
Strong understanding of secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and incident resolution.
Experience working autonomously and collaboratively in Agile squads using Scrum and/or Kanban.
Strong analytical, questioning, and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to approach complex problems from a broad architectural perspective.
Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Experience using coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor is a plus.
Experience integrating LLM APIs, agent platforms, or Generative AI engines is a plus.
Frontend development experience is considered an additional advantage.
