This role offers the opportunity to strengthen quality across web and hybrid applications within a fast-paced technology <environment.You> will take ownership of quality activities throughout the development lifecycle, from early feature stages through release.The position combines hands-on manual testing with test documentation, API validation, log analysis, and test automation <support.You> will validate user experiences across desktop and mobile browsers while ensuring functional reliability and consistent product quality.Working closely with a multinational engineering team, you will help establish strong quality practices and a culture of continuous improvement.Your analytical mindset and attention to detail will be essential in identifying risks, investigating issues, and supporting successful releases.The role is also well suited to a QA professional looking to broaden their expertise and grow toward a generalist quality engineering profile.
Accountabilities
- Own the quality assurance process within the assigned team, contributing from the earliest stages of feature development through final release.
- Promote and strengthen a quality-focused culture by collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, ad-hoc, acceptance, exploratory, and regression testing across desktop and mobile browsers.
- Conduct UI/UX testing of web and hybrid applications, ensuring consistent functionality, usability, and behavior across supported platforms and browsers.
- Design, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, checklists, and other test documentation aligned with project requirements and QA best practices.
- Create clear and actionable bug reports, documenting reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and relevant technical information.
- Support the development and maintenance of automated tests, contributing to broader test coverage and more efficient quality processes.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing using cloud-based testing services such as BrowserStack.
- Test application APIs using Postman or comparable tools and validate client-server interactions.
- Analyze application and system logs using Kibana or similar monitoring and log-analysis platforms to investigate defects and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to identify quality risks, communicate findings, and support timely issue resolution.
- Provide QA support throughout release processes, helping teams deliver stable and reliable product updates.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience in software testing or quality assurance, preferably in a web-based product environment.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing processes, tools, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, checklists, test scenarios, and detailed bug reports.
- Hands-on experience with task management tools such as JIRA and test management platforms such as TestRail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with exceptional attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON, with basic knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong experience performing cross-browser testing across both desktop and mobile environments.
- Practical experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack.
- Good understanding of client-server architecture and experience performing API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience analyzing application logs with Kibana or comparable solutions.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with international colleagues in English.
- Experience with hybrid applications, Progressive Web Apps (PWA), and native mobile applications is a plus.
- Familiarity with GitLab, Playwright, or WebdriverIO (WDIO) is an advantage.
- Interest in incorporating AI-powered tools into everyday testing and quality workflows.
- Strong motivation to develop broader expertise and grow into a general QA engineering role.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multinational engineering environment while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
