About The Role

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Human Resources Concierge is often the first point of contact our Team Members have with Human Resources and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, helpful and professional HR experience. This position provides day-to-day HR administrative support, assists Team Members with routine questions and requests, and helps connect them with the appropriate member of the HR team when additional support is needed. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, is organized and approachable, and is interested in developing their knowledge and building a career in Human Resources.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following

  • All aspects of Human Resources Concierge including welcoming new team members, answering questions and assisting with new hire processing.
  • Greets team members and guests and serves as first point of contact for the HR team.
  • Provides a friendly and inclusive environment at the Human Resources offices.
  • Accepts and processes team member paperwork, supports document audits and follows up with team members as needed.
  • Answers phones, emails, and general correspondence for the HR team, directs questions to the appropriate HR Team Members for solutions.
  • Supports various HR functions, such as employment verification, recognition programs, learning & development, HR office coverage, mail distribution and special projects.
  • Assisting in the recruitment of talent as needed.
  • Supports the HR team by performing day-to-day operational functions
  • Maintaining strict and utmost confidentiality of team member information and personal data.
  • Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of team members.
  • Develops and recommends standard office procedures and systems, ensures smooth office operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
  • Service & Solution focused.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates initiative.
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook

PREFERRED

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Workday system experience
  • Experience of working in a unionized hotel/casino environment

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
  • Close spaces while working with others.
