National Manager Equipment Finance 1st Party
Westpac Group · Australia
About The Role
How will I help?
As National Manager of our Equipment Finance (1st Party) business, you will lead the next phase of growth for a market-leading national franchise. This is a genuine leadership role with the mandate to set the strategy, lead a specialist sales team and build on Westpac’s No.1 position in equipment finance.
You will lead our First Party Equipment Finance business across Commercial, Regional & Agri, SME and Small Business. Working closely with bankers and relationship managers, you will bring equipment finance into customer conversations earlier, build a stronger pipeline and help more Australian businesses invest, grow and succeed.
Your impact will extend across the bank. You will influence Product, Credit, Operations, Technology, Risk, Financial Crime and Pricing to simplify policy, process, product and origination pathways for customers, bankers and specialists. You will also champion ongoing product and digital innovation to keep Westpac at the front of the market.
As a people leader, you will build an engaged, capable and accountable culture. You will set a high performance rhythm, coach and develop your leaders and specialists, and deliver quality growth across balances, revenue, settlements, profitability and market share while maintaining disciplined risk and capital management.
What’s in it for me?
You’ll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years. Our purpose is to create better futures together. So, we’ll back you in the development of your career, internal career prospects, and flexible working. You’ll also keep learning to grow your career, backed by a fantastic team of people with a can-do, supportive structure.
Whatever shape your family takes, we offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for your nominated primary and support carers. This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.
