About The Role

What does a Care Professional actually do?

Every day is different. You could be helping someone get ready in the morning, making breakfast and having a chat over a cup of tea. Another visit might involve helping with medication, preparing lunch, doing some light housework or heading out together to the shops or an appointment.

You’ll support people with the things they need help with, but the companionship is just as important.

Sometimes it’s as simple as sitting down for a chat, listening to their stories, or making sure they have a friendly face to see during the day.

As a Care Professional, you’ll get to know your clients and become someone they can trust and rely on. You’ll help them stay independent, comfortable and happy in their own home, and hopefully make their day a little brighter along the way.

No two visits are the same, and that’s what makes the role so rewarding.

Want to learn and develop?

You don’t need to have loads of care experience to join us. If you’re new to care, we’ll help you get started with the training and support you need.

Our training is practical and designed to help you feel confident and comfortable in your role. And if you already have care experience, we’ll help you build on what you already know.

You’ll never be expected to figure things out on your own, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for caring, reliable people who enjoy helping others. Experience is great, but it’s not essential — we’ll give you full training.

  • Supporting shopping and appointments
  • Helping with hobbies and days out
  • Assisting with personal care
