About The Role

Responsible for supporting the Facilities Director in the preparation, coordination, communication of the department budget and various assignments including capital projects in a confidential manner for Harrah’s and Horseshoe Council Bluffs.

  • Responsible for entering and tracking purchase requisitions and monitoring them as they are processed to purchase orders concluding with final invoicing and posting to the general ledger. Attention to detail is a must.
  • Responsible for tracking of invoice processing for service contracts for proper payment.
  • Responsible for filling out check requests.
  • Must have the ability to learn and be proficient with multiple purchasing systems including but not limited to Oracle; Stratton Warren, ERM and CWAS systems.
  • Update and Maintain NFPA Book, including inspections/preventative maintenance reports, utility records, and assist with Maximo Facilities Service Ticket system.
  • Prints and helps produce various monthly budget forms
  • Presents oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma, GED required, some college preferred
  • 2-3 years of purchasing or related experience preferred.
  • Prior Oracle or Stratton Warren experience a plus.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong written and verbal skills required. Must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must be able to perform duties with a sense of urgency, be well organized and work independently with minimal direction and strong attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to operate fax machines, copy machines, computers, printers, and other office equipment as needed.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Listens and responds to visual and aural cues.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 15 pounds and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when maneuvering around work area.
  • Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality including dust and lint. Must be able to work in an environment that is loud, humid, hot or cold.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adheres to departmental and company policies and maintains compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
