About The Role

The IT Project Manager works within a busy Group IT Project Management office and will be responsible for the delivery of a wide variety of IT related projects.

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within scope and budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs
  • Coordinate internal resources, 3rd party suppliers and delivery partners as required
  • Ensure risks and issues are addressed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Adhere to governance as defined within the PMO process
  • Produce project status management information
  • Ensure project documentation is produced and maintained
  • Interface with the wider global IT Organisation and global IT PMO as necessary e.g. for Design
  • Work within the company’s financial processes
  • Engage with stakeholders as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prince2 as a minimum with a preference for Project Management Professional certification
  • ITIL v3 Foundation as a minimum, preference for certification in one of more of the

following: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, Continual Service Improvement.

  • Practical knowledge of methodologies and frameworks: Lean, six-sigma, Agile. PMI-ACP desirable
  • Experience with and strong knowledge of governance frameworks.

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a proactive self-starter who can also work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills and capable of multi-tasking
  • Attention to detail and the ability to unblock complex problems
  • Effective use of Office 365
  • Developing and tracking budgets
  • Act as a professional ambassador for the WSP group IT Organization
