Senior Accountant (FinTech Projects)

• Act as a trusted and influential business partner to internal and external stakeholders, driving projects with cross-functional collaboration and significant business impact.
• Lead and own the design, implementation, and testing of large-scale business initiatives from an accounting perspective, ensuring a focus on long-term scalability.
• Collaborate closely with Data Analytics and Business Intelligence teams to design, implement, and test reporting solutions for new initiatives, ensuring their integration into the monthly closing process.
• Experience working with Product, Data Analytics, Technical Accounting teams
• Bridges technical details and business perspectives to ensure alignment
• Works independently and collaboratively with a strategic, "big picture" focus
• Being solution-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven is essential
• Familiarity with US GAAP and a strong understanding of month-end close procedures
• Experience in projects and project management is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven stakeholder management ability
• Takes ownership of responsibilities with a positive, independent, and inquisitive mindset
• Strong proficiency in financial systems, with SAP S/4HANA experience preferred
• Proactive and resourceful self-starter with a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
• Minimum 6 years of Accounting experience
• Comfort working with big data in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment
• Ability to grasp technical designs and simplify them into understandable concepts
