About The Role

Develop, deploy, and lead the global strategy and execution for end-to-end supply chain planning across demand planning, distribution center replenishment, and plant production planning. Use manufacturing systems principles to structure global production planning and improve throughput. Leverage time series analysis to drive statistical demand forecasts as a foundation for the global planning strategy. Optimize the global manufacturing network by modeling capacity, lead times and plant specific constraints to allocate production efficiently across multiple sites. Leverage advanced analytics and mathematical modeling to develop data-driven global supply chain strategies. Conduct demand planning reviews using statistically validated forecasts. Simulate supply chain scenarios to present trade-offs during Integrated Business Planning (IBP) discussions. Ensure effective Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) by translating high-level plans into actionable supply chain tactics. Oversee the monthly demand planning process in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust statistical forecasting methods and cross-functional consensus to deliver accurate demand signals. Translate demand forecasts into line-level production schedules considering equipment and labor constraints. Align production planning with plant capacity by modeling throughput and changeover times. Align with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Commercial and Finance to ensure integrated business planning and supply-demand synchronization. Drive plan adherence, balanced capacity utilization, and effective response to demand variability. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and systems thinking grounded in manufacturing systems logic. Lead corrective actions for major supply-demand imbalances or service issues. Establish or monitor specific supply-chain based performance measurement systems and prepare and manage departmental budgets, including financial and investment analysis to support supply chain decisions including inventory modeling, capacity, capex trade off analysis and budget impact assessment. Prepare for demand shifts, supply disruptions, and market volatility through robust, what-if scenarios and contingency strategies. Apply optimization techniques to reprioritize production and replenishment plans under constrained scenarios. Collaborate with logistics teams to resolve carrier capacity issues and customs delays through the application of network design principles to reduce supply chain costs and lead times by optimizing flow of products. Analyze import/export flows using supply chain system design principles to reduce lead times and duties.

REQUIREMENTS: Positions require a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Supply Chain, Materials, or Logistics Manager or Specialist, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 6 years of experience as a Supply Chain, Materials, or Logistics Manager or Specialist, or related position.
