Echo Technician

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Echo Technician / Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic echocardiographic examinations and assist cardiologists in the evaluation of cardiac conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Perform 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and Color Doppler echocardiography examinations.
• Conduct transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) according to clinical requirements.
• Obtain high-quality cardiac images and measurements for physician interpretation.
• Assist cardiologists during specialized echocardiographic procedures where required.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Perform appropriate measurements and preliminary technical assessments.
• Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment and report technical issues promptly.
• Ensure proper patient identification, documentation, and maintenance of examination records.
• Assist with stress echocardiography and other advanced studies where trained.
• Follow infection-control, radiation-free imaging, patient-safety, and facility protocols.
• Coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Dubai healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and continuing professional development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Cardiac Care Technology, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a relevant field.
• Relevant professional experience as an Echo Technician / Echocardiography Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer .
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in echocardiography preferred.
• Valid DHA license or DHA eligibility for Echocardiography Technologist, as applicable.
• Experience in adult transthoracic echocardiography is essential.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiographic techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
