Quality Control Master (QCM)

Work tasks: • Quality control of ship repair works. • Quality control of hatch covers repair and installation. • Quality control of hull construction works. • Quality control of piping works. • Checking the compliance of the performed works with the technical documentation, valid standards and the requirements of the client. • Participation in the acceptance of works and the preparation of the necessary technical documentation. • Cooperation with production departments, foremen and client representatives. • Identification of non-conformities and control of the implementation of corrective measures.

Other requirements: We expect the candidate to have: • Previous work experience in shipbuilding or ship repair as a quality control foreman, quality inspector or similar position. • Knowledge of repair technology for hatch covers, hull and piping work. • Ability to read technical drawings and documentation. • Conscientiousness, accuracy and good organizational skills. • Ability to work with measuring instruments. • English language skills are an advantage.
