Bartender

We are looking for an adult employee for a DJ or bartender position at a karaoke bar located in Tallinn Old Town.

Work tasks: The role includes providing professional, friendly, and efficient service to customers in the karaoke bar and ensuring that the venue’s daily operations run smoothly. Depending on the shift and operational needs, the employee’s duties may include both bar work and tasks related to DJ and karaoke services.

Bartender duties include taking customer orders, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, using the cash register system, accepting payments, and ensuring accurate transactions. The employee is responsible for keeping the bar area clean, organized, and ready for service, replenishing drink supplies and work materials when necessary, and maintaining a tidy workstation throughout the shift. When needed, the employee also helps with clearing tables, collecting glasses, serving customers in the seating area, and carrying out other daily tasks.

DJ duties include operating the karaoke and music software, taking song requests from customers and managing the performance queue, selecting suitable background music, and ensuring that the karaoke evening runs smoothly. The employee uses the necessary sound and karaoke equipment, microphones, and computer programs, and assists customers in finding suitable songs when needed. The DJ is also responsible for creating a pleasant, lively, and positive atmosphere in the bar and communicating with customers in a polite and professional manner.

The job also includes answering customer questions, introducing the bar’s services and offers, and assisting customers when needed. We expect the employee to be willing to cooperate with other team members and, when necessary, support colleagues with tasks in other areas in order to ensure fast and high-quality service.

We offer a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work mainly in the evenings and on weekends. Previous work experience is not required, as all necessary training is provided on site. Other requirements: The work takes place mainly in the evenings and at night, as well as on weekends, so the employee must be prepared to work according to a flexible schedule. Previous work experience as a bartender, DJ, or service employee is not required. All necessary working methods, including use of the cash register system, bar work, karaoke software, and equipment, will be taught on site. The employee will receive the necessary guidance and training when starting work and will be supported by experienced colleagues during the first working days.

We are primarily looking for a motivated, reliable, and willing-to-learn person who wants to work in the entertainment and service industry and is comfortable communicating actively with a wide range of customers.
