Pig Farm Section Managers

Rosderra Farms are seeking to employ a number of Section Managers for its Pig Production sites throughout Ireland

The main duties responsibilities include

• Managing all production aspects of the pig farm including physical performance, health production records, regulatory compliance and staff training.
• Implementing a standardised work routine and pig flow rotation across all aspects of the farm.
• Supporting and implementing Lean Processes on site

Requirements

• The applicant will need to have technical and practical competence, as well as the ability to make sound business decisions
• Previous experience is essential and any formal qualification is greatly valued
• A proven track record in dealing and managing staff would be helpful
• Salary & Working Hours etc
• The salary for this position is €36,605 per annum reflecting the importance of the position as well as level of experience.
• Working hours are regular but will involve weekend work, standard working week 39 hours
• Training in English language will be provided
