Patient Care Technician - Intensive Care Unit Mainland Campus

EDUCATION: High School degree or equivalent required.

CERTIFICATION: American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire or transfer. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required within 1 year of hire or transfer into the role, or until 10/31/25 for existing employees in the role.

EXPERIENCE: Ability to speak and write English Language required. Bilingual preferred. At least 8 weeks of Patient Care education or direct patient care experience required; or enrolled in a nursing school or physician assistant program. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with other team members. Candidates for this position must demonstrate the ability to be flexible, set priorities, solve problems and use good judgment in difficult situations. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
