The Opportunity

As an OGC Advisory Counselor Attorney, you will provide strategic legal guidance and support across various industries, advising on regulatory and public policy matters related to PwC's commercial activities. You will play a pivotal role in responding to inquiries or investigations launched by regulators, understanding the legal impact on the business of regulatory directives and orders, and preparing commercial partners and staff for public inquiries and hearings. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business growth efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level relations. You will inspire others to follow your vision, cultivate potential in others, and actively collaborate across the PwC Network, leveraging collective strengths.

In this role within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. You will create a healthy working environment while maximizing stakeholder satisfaction, promoting technological advances, and driving thought leadership. Your ability to identify market gaps and convert opportunities into success for the firm will be crucial, adhering to professional and technical standards and the firm's code of conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic legal guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients across various industries
  • Advising on regulatory and public policy matters related to PwC's commercial activities
  • Responding to inquiries or investigations initiated by regulatory authorities
  • Preparing commercial partners and staff for public inquiries and hearings
  • Managing contract negotiations and dispute resolutions to mitigate contractual risks
  • Developing and implementing corporate compliance programs and policies
  • Conducting legal analysis and preparing strategies to address regulatory changes
  • Collaborating with teams to drive innovation and promote technological advances in Office of General Counsel (OGC)
  • Building and maintaining relationships with regulatory agencies to validate compliance standards are met
  • Leading efforts in regulatory submissions project management and reporting

What You Must Have

  • At least a Juris Doctorate degree
  • At least 8 years of experience

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $122,500 - $423,780. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $122,500 - $504,500. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
