Employee Relations Partner – Workplace Investigations and HR Policies

Role Overview

As an Employee Relations Partner at Ralliant, you will be an integral part of our Global Employee Relations Centers of Excellence (COE) team, reporting directly to the Director of Employee Relations. In this role, you will handle sensitive and complex workplace investigations with professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity, and provide expert guidance to HR partners and business leaders on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with company policies, and local, state, and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support investigations into potential violations of company policies or the Code of Conduct, ensuring a thorough, impartial, and confidential process.
  • Manage investigations within the COE environment, analyzing data, providing remediation, and maintaining clear and accurate documentation through a case management system.
  • Analyze investigation trends and provide insights to refine policies, improve processes, and enhance training initiatives.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor on complex workplace practices, policy interpretation, and compliance with employment laws and regulations, and ensures alignment with legal and ethical standards.
  • Offer advice on performance management, conflict resolution, employee relations issues, ADA process, and policy enforcement to mitigate risks and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead and support projects related to employee relations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner and collaborate with HR teams, COEs, Compliance, legal counsel, and business leaders to promote compliance, best practices, and proactive employee relations strategies.
  • Address sensitive concerns both internally and externally, responding with professionalism, empathy, and a customer-focused approach.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in Employee Relations, particularly in handling complex workplace complaints and conflict resolution.
  • Global ER investigation experience with knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance at the local, state, and federal levels in the Americas.
  • Demonstrated success in conducting high-level and high-volume investigations within a COE environment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work with sense of urgency and responsiveness, and attention to detail.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, discretion, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in analyzing trends and proactively suggesting solutions to support compliance and enhance workplace culture.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills, with a consultative approach to guiding business leaders and HR partners.
  • A focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • At least 7 years of experience in Human Resources, with 4 years in Employee Relations, including a minimum of 3 years conducting workplace investigations.
  • Proven experience managing complex, sensitive employee relations issues and mentoring associates and managers.
  • Expertise in offering consultative advice on high-risk employee relations matters, performance management, company policies, and procedures.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, particularly in challenging and sensitive situations.
  • Experience using investigation or ER/HR case management systems, generating reports, and analyzing data.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to handling all matters with discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Strong ability to identify trends and propose solutions that enhance both compliance and workplace culture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
