Driver Class 5

About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class 5 Driver to transport goods, materials, and equipment efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle inspections, timely deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to company policies and transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles requiring a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Pick up and deliver products, materials, or equipment to customers and company locations.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and securely.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Maintain delivery records, logbooks, and proof of delivery documentation.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Previous driving, delivery, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) or more as required.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Forklift certification is an asset (if applicable).

Working Conditions
- Driving in various weather and traffic conditions.
- Frequent entering and exiting of the vehicle.

License Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Acceptable driver's abstract.
- Ability to pass background, driving record, and/or drug and alcohol screening where required.
