About The Role

As a Material Handler - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing the movement, storage, and control of materials within our facility to ensure efficient production and timely delivery. You will be responsible for handling materials safely and accurately, supporting inventory management, and collaborating with various departments to maintain smooth operations.

You will report directly to our Logistics Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Olathe, KS location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency of our supply chain operations by ensuring materials are handled correctly and available when needed, contributing to overall production success and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies in designated locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or production as per work orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience in material handling within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and material flow management.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software to track and manage inventory.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

WE VALUE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
  • Experience with automated inventory systems and barcode scanning technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
