About The Role

We are looking for an experienced EICR Electrician to join our team, carrying out electrical inspection and testing, identifying defects and ensuring clear, accurate reporting in line with current regulations and industry standards.

The role

As an EICR Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspection and testing across a range of residential and public sector properties. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) to a high standard
  • Identifying and rectifying C1 and C2 defects where required
  • Carrying out installations and issuing Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) when required
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current regulations, including the 18th Edition
  • Producing accurate and comprehensive reports
  • Managing your own workload and appointments effectively
  • Working independently while contributing to the wider team
  • Travelling to various sites, with journeys of up to approximately one hour when required

About you

We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You will have

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • A recognised Inspection & Testing qualification , such as City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395, 2391-52 or an equivalent EAL qualification
  • Previous experience working within social housing or a similar environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection and reporting
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of health and safety requirements
