Sitter

Job Summary

Provides one-on-one observation of a designated patient. Sitters are under the supervision of the registered nurse and should notify them of any patient needs. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities

• Performs direct observation as assigned under the direction of licensed nursing personel.
• Provides for patient safety.
• Participates in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.
