Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.The OpportunityThis role owns the day-to-day running of the Blue J office facilities, security, supplies and is the go-to operational resource for on-site employees. You'll keep the office safe, well-stocked, welcoming, and smoothly run, acting as the connective tissue between guests, vendors, and internal teams. You'll also coordinate quarterly company all-hands events at off-site venues and support in-office team celebrations throughout the year.What You’ll be DoingEmployee Events & CulturePlan and organize quarterly company all-hands events at off-site venues, including venue sourcing, logistics, and vendor coordinationCoordinate catering and logistics for ad hoc team events, social gatherings, holiday celebrations, and milestone recognitionsManage employee experience for virtual and hybrid company events for special holidays, learning sessions, new hiresTrack event budgets and reconcile spend against plan for each eventOffice Operations & SuppliesMaintain office and meeting-room supplies: place orders, monitor levels, and restockMaintain the storage room, keeping it organized and stockedManage kitchen/pantry stocking and catering for meetings and in-office events.Own company shipping and receivingManage vendor relationships (cleaning, repairs, supplies) and on-site vendors as neededFacilities & SecuritySubmit and track tickets for repairs and cleaningServe as landlord / property-management liaisonServe as point of contact for office access and desk-booking systems (Eden and Kisi)Prepare quarterly office statistics reports on desk and meeting-room <utilization.Health> & SafetyOwn Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) compliance responsibilitiesRun quarterly JHSC meetings and monthly office inspectionsMaintain first-aid supplies and emergency proceduresDocumentation & CommunicationsMaintain the Office Handbook, keeping policies and procedures current.Own office-wide communications (closures, maintenance notices, event announcements, etc.)Budget & ReconciliationOwn month-end reconciliation of the office expense credit card.Track and report against the office/facilities budget.What You Offer Blue J 3+ years in office management, facilities, or workplace operationsHighly organized, hands-on, and proactive, with strong follow-through on maintenance and logisticsComfortable being the on-site face of the office for guests and staff, with excellent interpersonal and written communication skillsDemonstrated experience managing vendors and negotiating service contractsComfortable owning a budget and reconciling expenses accurately and on timeFamiliarity with workplace tools (e.g., Eden, Kisi, Float) an assetProficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word, Slides)First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain, an assetPost-secondary education in business administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceExpected to be in-office 5 days per weekWhat We Offer You Competitive base salary, stock options, and benefits designed to support you and your familyA collaborative, ambitious, and supportive team that values innovation, respect, and funThe excitement of a fast-growing, well-funded company with clear momentum, and the resources to back bold initiativesThe Core Values that Define Our CultureWe are customer-focusedWe put the team interest before self-interestWe are pleasant and playfulWe are open to better ideasWe move fast and fix thingsWhat to Expect in the Interview ProcessWe anticipate a high volume of applicants for this role and are excited to grow our team.
