CBIZ is currently looking for an AI Full Stack Application Developer to join their product development team and help build AI-driven applications and product features. This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level full stack developer with experience in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET) and modern web technologies, such as React or Angular. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and delivery of scalable applications that integrate AI capabilities to improve business processes, analytics, and user experiences. You will also collaborate with data scientists, analysts, developers, and product stakeholders to deliver secure, maintainable solutions that provide measurable value to customers.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Application Development: Build and enhance full-stack AI applications using .NET and modern front-end frameworks under the guidance of senior engineers.
• AI Integration: Support the integration of AI/ML models, APIs, and services into business applications to improve processes, analytics, and user experiences.
• Front-End Development: Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern web technologies, with a preference for React.
• Agile Delivery: Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, development tasks, testing, and iterative product delivery.
• Customer Value: Help deliver product features that provide measurable value to end-users and stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with data scientists, analysts, developers, and product stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following established design patterns, coding standards, and secure development practices.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current on relevant AI capabilities, .NET releases, cloud services, and front-end frameworks.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, implementation notes, and knowledge transfer materials for supported features.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, MIS, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of professional software development experience, preferably with Microsoft .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, or Entity Framework.
• Experience with modern web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3; React experience preferred.
• Basic experience integrating APIs, AI services, or machine learning-enabled features into business applications.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools or agentic SDLC workflows to improve software delivery, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and experience working in a collaborative product development environment.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL; exposure to NoSQL or vector databases is a plus.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, scalable application design, and cloud platforms, with Azure experience preferred.
• Understanding of software design principles and common patterns such as SOLID, dependency injection, and layered application architecture.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the accounting or financial sector is a plus.
