Temp Parttime Faculty-Psychology

The Department of Psychology is seeking qualified temporary, part-time faculty. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, with positions filled based on budget availability, course enrollment, and departmental needs. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teaching and facilitating undergraduate psychology courses. Preparing, administering, and grading assignments, quizzes, midterm examinations, and final examinations. Developing, updating, and maintaining course materials and instructional content. Coordinating course activities, including class schedules and examinations, as needed. Maintaining accurate student records and submitting grades in accordance with University policies and deadlines. Holding scheduled office hours and responding to student inquiries in a timely manner. Assessing student learning outcomes and participating in departmental assessment activities, as appropriate. Performing other instructional duties and responsibilities consistent with the position. Faculty are responsible for all aspects of the courses they teach, including meeting with classes during assigned times, delivering course content, developing and grading assignments, submitting final grades, and assessing student learning outcomes as outlined by the department. Teaching assignments are based on departmental needs and are subject to change. Appointment Information: Appointments are contingent upon departmental need each semester, as determined by student enrollment, the current course offering schedule, and instructional demand driven by graduation requirements.
