About the role

MSS Security is looking for a motivated Part Time Security Officer to join our team in Brisbane (Coopers Plains) and play a key role in protecting a high-profile site (healthcare).

Enjoy a consistent roster with 27 hours per fortnight : Week 1 – Thursday, 4:00pm–11:00pm; Week 2 – Monday, 11:00pm–7:00am and Sunday, 7:00pm–7:00am.

Duties may include but are not limited to

• Provide professional customer service to staff, visitors, clients and authorised personnel.
• Monitor CCTV, access control and alarm systems, responding to security alerts and incidents.
• Act as an Emergency Responder, providing a prompt and professional response to emergencies.
• Conduct regular internal and external foot and buggy patrols, identifying hazards and security risks.
• Escort Undertakers and authorised personnel, ensuring safe and secure movement throughout the facility.

Skills & Experience

• Full Australian working rights.
• Current QLD Security licence
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Willingness to obtain site' required vaccinations
• Availability to work the following roster:

• Week 1 - Thursday 1600-2300
• Week 2 – Monday 2300-0700, Sunday 1900-0700
• Total – 27 hrs
• Master licence: 41299
