Distributor Network Manager

About The Role
Job Summary**
The Distributor Network Manager at FLSmidth S.A. is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the company's distributor network to achieve sales targets and expand market reach within the assigned region or product lines.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive distributor network strategy aligned with FLSmidth's overall business objectives.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new distributors, ensuring they meet company criteria and possess the necessary capabilities.
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing distributors, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Negotiate and manage distributor agreements, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for distributors and monitor their performance, providing regular feedback and support.
- Develop and implement training programs for distributor sales teams on FLSmidth products, solutions, and sales processes.
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and technical support teams to provide distributors with the resources and support needed to succeed.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends to optimize distributor strategies.
- Manage distributor incentive programs and promotional activities to drive sales and market share.
- Resolve distributor-related issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare and present regular reports on distributor performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure distributors adhere to FLSmidth's ethical guidelines, compliance standards, and brand guidelines.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales management, channel sales, or distributor management, preferably within the industrial equipment, mining, or cement industries.
- Proven track record of successfully building, managing, and growing a distributor network.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, channel management best practices, and distribution models.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other regional languages is a plus.
