About The Role

Job Purpose

The OPTICA Executive plays a pivotal role in driving and managing our OPTICA program seamlessly between other functions like Customer Services, GPD, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse operations etc..

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive OPTICA Sales in assigned territory
  • Implement the OPTICA solution in the assigned markets and territory
  • Work closely with the factory sales team to identify new / migration opportunities to grow OPTICA business
  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue plans
  1. Operations & Consumables Management
  • Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain for ODL consumables (machines, inks, ribbons, fabric care labels, paper tags, and RFID blanks) to guarantee zero factory downtime. Raise alerts on non-moving inventory to minimize risks and stock-outs to ensure timely supplies to factories.
  1. Technical Support 
  • Collaborate with field service engineers to manage spare part inventory planning
  1. Stakeholder Management
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with cross functional teams.
  • Work closely with factory sales, Customer Service for timely updates
  • Follow up with GPD teams for item setup and updates, maintain correct pricing details
  • Liaise with warehouse team for timely dispatch of critical orders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work with QA teams to address client quality complaints and timely resolution
  • Prompt updates to tools like GCLM, OSC, Ironclad etc.
  • Collaborate with MIS team for reports like monthly / quarterly sales numbers for OPTICA and analyze the gaps if any and provide insights to leadership
  •  Qualifications & Skills Required -
  • Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Apparel/Textile Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. (Technical education is preferred)
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in the apparel industry, trim/label manufacturing, or handling factory-floor operations.

 Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial barcode printers (thermal transfer printers) and labels
  • Data Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, inventory tracking, and metrics reporting.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical matters with stakeholders
  • Adaptability: Ability to troubleshoot calmly and efficiently in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
