MAINTENANCE LEAD TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

Maintenance repair work

1. Repairs & maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals & manufacturer’s specifications machineries & other mechanical equipment.
2. Inspects & troubleshoots the problem.
3. Dismantles devices to repair defective parts.
4. Reports work done, remarks & parts used on the repair request form.
5. Checks the bearing condition & other wear & tear.
6. Replaces faulty Mechanical components of machines & equipment, such as bearing, chains, belts, pneumatic & Hydraulic Components, using proper equipment & hand tools.
7. Performs & implements routine maintenance programs using appropriate tools & all related references.
8. Carry out the calibration based on the calibration schedule.
9. Logging the daily activities.

5S

1. Carry out, implement and maintain the 5S culture.
2. Ensures that health & safety requirements are implemented throughout the plant; that employee health is adequately safeguarded from industrial hazards.

Authorities

1. Prepares & issues a needed spare parts voucher.
2. Initiates & recommends modification or replacement of components & equipment which fail to meet acceptable operating standards.
3. May direct, assist & train new or lower level technicians.
