Job Description Summary

• The Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine is seeking an Associate Professor Term (open rank) - General Rheumatology.
• This position will provide care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting with clinical partners through the UofL Health System and the VA.
• Your role as a rheumatologist will be to engage in all three missions of academic medicine - teaching, research, and patient care.

Job Description

• The successful candidate will be expected to train rheumatology fellows, residents, and medical students and provide them with a thorough understanding of autoimmune disorders.
• They will also have the opportunity to collaborate with research on clinical trials to ensure that the rheumatology fellows are engaged in the clinical trial research arena.

• The candidate must be board-certified or board eligible in rheumatology and hold a valid Kentucky medical license. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
