Senior Consultant - SAP-SAP FIORI - UI5

We are seeking an experienced SAP UI5/Fiori Developer to join Bristlecone India's S4 HANA Technical – Delivery department. The Senior Consultant will design, develop, and optimize SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, OData, and SAP Gateway, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions that meet business requirements and align with SAP best practices.

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and OData services.
• Integrate front‑end components with SAP Gateway and back‑end S/4HANA systems.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure robust, high‑performance applications.
• Implement UI5 best practices, performance tuning, and accessibility standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and deployment guides.
• Support migration of legacy SAP GUI screens to modern Fiori UX.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery reviews.
• Stay updated with SAP UI5/Fiori roadmap and incorporate new features where beneficial.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in SAP UI5/Fiori development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAPUI5 framework.
• Extensive experience with OData services and SAP Gateway (OData V2/V4).
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration patterns.
• Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end Fiori applications in a delivery environment.
• Experience with SAP Web IDE, Business Application Studio, or similar development tools.
• Knowledge of UI5 component lifecycle, MVC, and modern front‑end design patterns.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; SAP certification is a plus.
