About The Role

As a CNC Machinist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating CNC machines and assembling machined components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet our stringent standards and contribute to our manufacturing excellence.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Golden Valley, MN location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by accurately setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery, as well as assembling components to support production goals and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set-up, operate and maintain a variety of CNC/ASM machines which perform a variety of operations such as, but not limited to; boring, reaming, turning, milling, drilling, tapping, etc.
  • Assemble machined components ensuring proper fit and finish
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime
  • Conduct quality inspections to verify parts meet required tolerances and standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all safety regulations

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2 years of machinist experience
  • Satisfactory Completion of geometric tolerancing ACE course or equivalent
  • 40 hours of CNC training

WE VALUE

  • In lieu of the above requirements, 1,800 hours of vocational machinist training or equivalent machine shop experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in CNC machining and assembly within industrial or manufacturing settings
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safety-first mindset, including proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across functions
  • Willingness to train other operators

The hourly pay rate for this position is $36.49. Please note that this hourly pay rate information serves as a general guideline.
