About The Role

Executive, Cybersecurity (UE2) JOB PURPOSE The primary purpose of this position is to perform cybersecurity operational activities, including the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, cybersecurity risk assessments, control monitoring, and AI security initiatives. The role coordinates with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure cybersecurity services, controls, and projects are delivered effectively in accordance with established policies, standards, service level requirements, and governance frameworks. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES No. Accountabilities 1 Cybersecurity Operations Perform and coordinate day-to-day cybersecurity operations to ensure the effective functioning of cybersecurity systems, tools, and services. Monitor operational performance, manage service requests and security events, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, service levels, and governance requirements. 2 Vulnerability Management Perform vulnerability management activities across IT infrastructure, applications, endpoints, cloud services, and cybersecurity platforms, including vulnerability identification, assessment, prioritisation, remediation tracking, and reporting. Coordinate with relevant technology owners and stakeholders to ensure identified vulnerabilities are addressed within agreed timelines based on risk severity and business impact. 3 Cybersecurity Risk Assessment & Control Monitoring Perform cybersecurity risk assessments, control reviews, and compliance monitoring activities to identify technology and security risks across systems, processes, and services. Coordinate the documentation, tracking, and follow-up of risk treatment actions with relevant stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity risks are managed in accordance with internal policies, standards, and governance requirements. 4 AI Security Perform AI security activities to support the secure and responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies within the organisation. Conduct monitoring, governance, and assessment of AI-related risks, including data exposure, unauthorised use of AI tools, model misuse, third-party AI services, and compliance with internal cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements. 5 Project Management Perform IT project management activities, including project evaluation, business justification, proposal preparation, solution development or procurement, and implementation. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to support the successful delivery of projects in accordance with approved requirements, timelines, and governance standards. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCES Formal Education Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technologies/Computer Studies or any equivalent. Work Experience Total Work Experience: 1 to 3 years Skills / Knowledge/ Qualifications · Understanding of cybersecurity operations, security monitoring and incident support. · Knowledge of vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking and reporting. · Knowledge of cybersecurity risk, compliance and control monitoring. · Awareness of AI security risks and secure use of AI tools. · Good coordination skills with internal teams, vendors and system owners. · Good documentation, reporting and communication skills.
