About The Role

Main Responsibilities will include

  • Perform Accounting Duties; reconciliation of Statement of Account from Clinics and/ Service Providers
  • Review, reconcile and close monitoring of debtor’s list (claims payment and underwriting)
  • Liaise with the In-Patient Team for any reconciliation exercise
  • Liaise with other clusters for reconciliation exercise
  • Liaise with Accounts, Business Transformation Solutions and Claims departments as and when required
  • Handle and follow up queries and recoveries
  • Updating of claims file on system
  • Provide support and reports for health portfolio analysis/ results to Clients and business partners
  • Generate reports and assist the Marketing Team, Underwriting Team and Claims Team for reporting and statistical data
  • Attend to meeting with service providers and clients

Qualifications and Experience

  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
  • Diploma in Accounts
  • Have some Health Insurance and/ or General Insurance knowledge
  • Be customer-oriented, proactive and dynamic
  • Well versed in policy wording, policy terms and conditions
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Be able to handle pressure to deliver against tight deadlines
  • Be a team player
  • Have an outgoing personality with good communications skills
  • Be well conversant with MS Office Tools (including PowerPoint) and with passion to excel

  • Filter and process Out-Patient claims
  • Handle and follow-up with incoming calls, incoming mails and queries in a timely manner
  • Send claims history reports and bordereaux
  • Liaise and assist In-Patient and Provident Fund teams as and when required
  • Liaise with in-house Medical Officers
  • Liaise with the Accounts and other departments as and when required
  • Liaise with the Underwriting and Marketing teams on a regular basis
  • Communicate with Agents and Brokers
  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
  • Have prior experience in Health insurance will be a definite advantage
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player
  • Be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Be conversant with MS Office Tools
