Nutanix AHV Virtualization Engineer*

Please note that this is a generic position. There is currently no open requirement for this role. However, it is a profile frequently requested by our clients and regularly sought within Cronos Europa.

As a member of our Infrastructure & Cloud team, you will contribute to the design, deployment, migration, and operation of enterprise virtualization platforms based on

Nutanix AHV

. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to support modern, scalable, and secure virtualized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Nutanix AHV infrastructures and clusters.
• Support migration projects from legacy virtualization platforms to Nutanix AHV.
• Manage and administer Nutanix Prism Central and Prism Element environments.
• Perform platform lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and resilience.
• Apply security best practices and contribute to compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, storage, and security teams.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in virtualization and infrastructure engineering.
• Proven experience with Nutanix AHV environments.
• Good understanding of compute, storage, networking, and virtualization concepts.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is required. French is a strong asset.
