QESH Manager (Quality, Environment, Safety & Health)

Quality & Food Safety Leadership - 70%

• Own and continuously improve the site's Quality and Food Safety Management System.
• Act as the site's Food Safety Team Leader.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable international and Vietnamese food safety, quality, customer, risk control, and regulatory requirements, including BRCGS and Product Integrity programs , by maintaining certification compliance, driving audit excellence, managing product safety and authenticity risks, ensuring end-to-end traceability, overseeing recall and crisis preparedness, and implementing effective allergen management and contamination prevention controls to safeguard product quality, consumer safety, and legal compliance.
• Maintain audit-ready status at all times and lead external certification audits and customer audits.
• Manage specifications, testing programs and release procedures.
• Oversee supplier quality assurance and approval processes.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality incidents, complaints, deviations and non-conformances.
• Establish and monitor quality KPIs

Environmental Management  - 10%

• Lead implementation and continual improvement of ISO 14001 systems.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental legislation and permits.
• Drive sustainability initiatives related to: 
• Energy reduction
• Waste reduction
• Water conservation
• Packaging sustainability
• Carbon footprint improvement
• Monitor environmental KPIs and compliance reporting.

Occupational Health & Safety - 10%

• Lead the site's Health & Safety Management System.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 45001 and local HSE regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and employee engagement.
• Manage: 
• Risk assessments
• Safety inspections
• Incident investigations
• Corrective actions
• Permit-to-work systems
• Contractor safety programs
• Ensure legal compliance and reporting requirements are fulfilled.
• Drive continuous reduction of workplace incidents and occupational risks.

•  
• Regulatory & Compliance Management – 10%

• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese food safety, labor, environmental and occupational health legislation.
• Maintain regulatory permits and registrations.
• Monitor emerging regulatory developments affecting the business.
• Interface with regulatory authorities, certification bodies and customer representatives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline. Master’s degree desirable.
• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in quality, food safety and EHS leadership roles.
• At least 5 years in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience within:  Coffee, Beverage, Dairy, Ingredients and/or FMCG food manufacturing
• Demonstrated success managing BRCGS-certified operations.
• Experience leading customer, certification and regulatory audits.
• Proven people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in multinational organizations and matrix reporting structures.

Professional Certifications Preferred

• Lead Auditor qualification (BRCGS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001)
• HACCP Certification
• Food Safety Team Leader Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification (preferred)
