The Opportunity: Reporting to the F&B Manager, the Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations within their assigned outlet(s). This individual will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of the dining experience, including maintaining high service standards, managing staff, and contributing to an exceptional customer experience. The F&B Supervisor will lead by example, ensuring the highest level of hospitality is consistently delivered to Members and guests.

Duties and Functions

  • Train, guide, and lead a team of waitstaff, hosts/hostesses, and other service personnel
  • Manage and organize table reservations, ensuring optimal seating arrangements and efficient table turnover
  • Monitor and maintain outlet cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and prompt manner
  • Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance service quality and efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with management to place orders for supplies and beverages
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring all staff adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Participate in staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for peak and off-peak hours
  • Perform regular staff evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, banquets, and private parties
  • Serve as an opening, mid, and closing manager on duty and ensure SOPs of opening/closing duties are executed
  • Supervise and assist FOH team members during mealtimes, ensuring proper service, order-taking, and beverage service—always leading by example
  • Lead and participate in the continuous cleaning and upkeep of all service areas, both front and back of house
  • Manage outlet operations in accordance with Club F&B standards
  • Be consistently visible on the floor to manage staff and interact with Members and guests
  • Conduct and participate in month-end inventories as directed by the F&B Manager
  • Check and verify staff opening/closing side work for completion and accuracy
  • Host daily pre-shift meetings and prepare end-of-day reports, sending them to the appropriate parties
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Director, F&B

Qualification Standards

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality management is a plus

Proven experience (2–4 years) in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry

In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service protocols, and food safety regulations

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a diverse team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with Members, guests, and staff

Proficiency in POS systems, reservation platforms, and basic computer applications

Outstanding organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask

Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in real-time and make sound decisions

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required

Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service is desirable
