The Opportunity: The Food & Beverage (F&B) Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Food & Beverage department at the club. This position ensures the smooth coordination of reservations, communications, documentation, and department functions while assisting both the front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Duties and Functions
- Provide administrative support to the F&B management team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Manage reservation bookings, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and proper communication with members and guests.
- Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and distribute updates and action items to the F&B team.
- Maintain records, reports, and communications for both FOH and BOH operations.
- Learn and understand F&B Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to effectively support the department across all areas.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of operational documents, schedules, and communications.
- Extend support to various F&B positions as needed, demonstrating flexibility and team commitment.
- Uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information or communications.
- Professionally communicate with members, guests, and employees via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Perform additional duties and extended hours as requested by F&B management.
Qualification Standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional in both email and face-to-face interactions.
Prior experience with reservation bookings required.
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including extended shifts, when needed.
Ability to learn and support both FOH and BOH operations.
Team player with the ability to take direction from multiple F&B managers.
