Senior Network Engineer

Description

We are looking for a talented Network Engineer to join a team of highly qualified professionals and get involved in the full IT projects lifecycle for enterprise-class solution.

Responsibilities

More specifically, as Senior Network Engineer, you will

• Lifecycle management, design, architect, and provide support of Routing, Switching, Security Solutions and VPNs across LAN/WAN in Qualco and client infrastructure;
• Provide expertise with network strategy, architectural design, and enhancements;
• Act as a technical lead with expert level knowledge and experience in one or more areas: Networking with WAN technologies (Remote Access, Routing Protocols, QoS, VPN), Networking with LAN technologies (VLANs, Spanning Tree, VoIP and Wireless technologies), as well as routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP;
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies;
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution; and
• Maintain expert level knowledge of various vertical areas of functionality and technology within IT engineering technologies;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

To be considered you should have

• 8 years of Network engineering experience;
• University degree in Computer Science or a related subject;
• Certifications in one or more of the following areas: Cisco CCNP/CCDP, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE;
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams;
• Track record of consistently driving projects to completion and taking accountability for work and results;
• Consult with clients and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution. Understands potential impacts to processes and systems across organization and factors these into solutions;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
