The Mechanic is responsible for the assembly, installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of industrial turbine packages and related systems. This role performs a variety of mechanical and electrical installation activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, engineering, and production requirements. Technicians are expected to interpret engineering documentation, utilize specialized tools and equipment, maintain high standards of workmanship, and contribute to the successful completion of customer projects.
1st and 2nd shift available.
This is a 4/10 schedule; Monday - Thursday with overtime available.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and inspect mechanical and electrical components in accordance with engineering drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
- Interpret and utilize engineering drawings, schematics, P&IDs, bills of material, and quality assurance documentation.
- Perform mechanical assembly activities including tubing installation, torquing, rigging support, alignment, and equipment installation.
- Perform electrical installation activities including cable routing, termination, labeling, grounding, and junction box assembly.
- Operate hand tools, precision measuring devices, torque equipment, lifting devices, and other specialized tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality requirements while promoting a culture of operational excellence.
- Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities that support safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with production teams, engineering, quality, and leadership to achieve project milestones and customer expectations.
- Support the training and development of other team members as experience and qualifications allow.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Experience using power tools, and other equipment to perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
- Willing to work any shift
- Motivated, hardworking, individual with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and safely handle tools, equipment, and materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, power generation equipment, heavy equipment, aerospace, oil and gas, military maintenance, or related technical fields preferred.
- Experience with rigging, tubing, electrical terminations, torque tooling, or industrial systems is a plus.

Base rate for this role ranges from $17.89 - 36.82 /hr.
