We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and practical individual to join our Auckland-based Waters team as a Water Serviceperson - Reactive.

As part of our frontline operations team, you'll play a key role in maintaining Auckland's wastewater and stormwater networks. You'll respond to faults, overflows, odour complaints and customer service requests, carrying out investigations, repairs and maintenance activities that help keep essential services operating for our communities.

Working across a variety of locations, you'll be responsible for fault finding, network investigations, maintenance works, incident response and customer notifications, while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll also complete field documentation and utilise mobile technology to capture accurate job information and records.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you enjoy problem-solving, working outdoors and being part of a team that makes a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for a safety-focused team player who takes pride in delivering quality outcomes and excellent customer service.

You will bring

Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
Class 2 Licence and WTR endorsements advantageous
Experience in civil construction, water, utilities, infrastructure maintenance or a related field
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
Good computer literacy and confidence using mobile field devices
Experience completing documentation and job records accurately
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A proactive, self-motivated and results-oriented approach
Strong commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards
Flexibility to participate in a standby roster and respond to emergency callouts when required
