7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - or longer, until orders are completed

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday - Thursday/Sunday off

Pay is $17 per hour.

Serv-U-Success is a retail merchandising services company working in distribution and warehousing with one of the fastest growing retailers in the Midwest.

This position is a key role that is a primary Forklift Operator for receiving, replenishment, and loading that requires a high degree of flexibility in work duties. The position will be responsible for order selection from time to time.

This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as powered hand-jacks, box cutters, and tape dispensers. This individual regularly moves items that are between 10lbs-60lbs in weight. The role requires flexibility in duties and daily tasks being able to change tasks quickly.

Essential Duties

  • Tag outbound trucks for pick-up/delivery.
  • Use forklift or Hi-Lo to receive inbound product, move stored product, and load outbound product.
  • Break down palletized loads as necessary for staging and storage.
  • Ability to use RF Scanner to check product into and out of the facility.
  • Perform bin audits throughout pick module using RF scanner.
  • Accurately replenish product bins using RF scanner and forklift.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts using RF scanner
  • Correctly pick product from bin locations using an automated voice-pick system.
  • Identify product bin numbers from bin labels.
  • Ensure product picked is accurate and gently placed on pallets to prevent damage.
  • Use powered hand-jack to move product around the warehouse.
  • Correctly label and wrap outbound pallets.
  • Inform shift supervisor of any discrepancies in product ordered to actual product stored in bin.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Keep work area clean by picking up pallets, plastic, cardboard, paper and scrap pieces of wood and place in designated areas.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Interpersonal Communication Proficiency to communicate issues with managers and other team members
  • Professional Demeanor in both action and appearance
  • Thoroughness and Accuracy in following verbal instruction
  • Time Management to maximize productivity
  • Ability to read and match numbers
