Your Everyday at Nexi

As a Legal Advisor, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Rzeszów/Poznań/ Kraków/ Warszawa. Together, we work on shaping innovative payment and e-commerce products, working closely with business, product and technology teams to find practical solutions to complex legal challenges.

About Your Future Role

In this position, you will

  • Provide day-to-day legal support to Nexi Group companies operating in Poland, in particular in the areas of payment services, e-commerce and new technologies.
  • Support business, product, sales, operations, IT, HR and finance teams in day-to-day legal matters related to their activities.
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial, technology, partnership, product, licensing and intra-group agreements.
  • Support product teams in the design, implementation and development of products and services, in particular by identifying legal risks and proposing practical solutions.
  • Prepare and update legal and corporate documentation in Polish and English, including bilingual documentation (PL/EN).
  • Support ongoing corporate law matters and the servicing of corporate bodies.
  • Participate in projects related to e-commerce, payment services, data protection, fintech and new technologies.
  • Take part in regulatory, implementation, reorganisation and other projects carried out within the Nexi Group.

Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified Legal Counsel (Radca Prawny) or Attorney-at-Law (Adwokat).
  • Approximately 3–5 years of professional experience gained in a law firm or an in-house legal department.
  • Good knowledge of civil, commercial and business law, in particular in relation to drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements.
  • Experience or good knowledge of legal matters related to new technologies, e-commerce, digital services or the fintech sector.
  • Ability to identify legal risks and translate legal issues into practical and clear business recommendations.
  • Experience in providing day-to-day legal support to business units and working with stakeholders outside the legal function.
  • Very good command of English, enabling independent work with legal documentation and effective communication in an international environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, independence and accountability for assigned tasks, as well as the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic business environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, together with a collaborative and business-oriented approach to the in-house legal role.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in the payments, financial services, fintech, e-commerce or technology sector.
  • Knowledge of payment services regulations or experience working with a regulated entity.
  • Experience in technology, product or implementation projects.
  • Experience in reorganisation, transactional or M&A projects.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders, external law firms or legal teams within an international group.
