About The Role

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Accounting and Finance Analyst is responsible for various corporate finance functions, including month-end closing, reporting and analysis, support statutory and internal audits, fixed asset administration, review & reporting of Internal controls for financial reporting & other adhoc projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Perform monthly variance analysis vs. forecast and prior periods
  • Review and improve internal controls and Accounting/Finance policies and procedures
  • Reports and administers Fixed Asset/Other Asset reporting and administration, including leading fixed asset verifications.
  • Completes Internal control financial reporting (ICFR) testing and reporting, including planning and project management.
  • Prepares tax filings and coordinate with Ralliant corporate on state/federal tax compliance and accounting activities.
  • Assists finance manager with ongoing and special projects as assigned, including implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Monitor, control, and oversee accounts receivable activities to ensure timely collection of customer payments and maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Review aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, resolve payment discrepancies, and support month-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to minimize outstanding receivables and reduce credit risk.
  • Supervise accounts payable processes to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.
  • Review payment schedules, reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with company policies and financial controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors in Accounting
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong PC and Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Superior ability to multi-task and prioritize
