About The Role

The Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) is responsible for the coverage, retention, development, and customer satisfaction of a specific group of customers within a territory of Washington State covering the following counties: Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish. This individual should be ambitious and have a passion for delivering innovative product support solutions to Modern’s customers.

Annual base salary + monthly commission. This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime pay.

  • Perform and coordinate market and opinion surveys.
  • Provide customers with quotes related to product support.
  • Perform machine inspections and evaluations.
  • Communicate the progress of repair(s) to customer’s equipment in the shop.
  • Assist in successfully negotiating and settling customer product support disputes.
  • Execute on short and long-term goals through good management and planning.

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 5+ years of industry experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Nature and Scope of Job

  • Requires prolonged sitting with periodic lifting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
