About The Role

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Warranty & Production, this role is responsible for production planning, production volume analysis, inventory system management, physical inventory management, and purchasing/procurement. Based on accurate data and system management, the role maintains alignment among production, inventory, and purchasing, supports the Senior Manager, Warranty & Production's decision making, and contributes to the efficient and safe operation of the production site.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  1. Production Planning
  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders, in coordination with the Production Execution Lead, Custom Call Lead, and Warranty Execution Lead.
  • Adjust production plans to reflect seasonal demand fluctuations, including new product launches and off-season periods.
  • Manage plan-versus-actual performance; analyze causes of variance and propose corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with the Production Execution Lead on production priorities and resource allocation (manpower/equipment).
  • Review and plan club-build requests from other teams.
  • Consider outsourced production requirements when developing production plans, as needed.
  1. Production Analysis
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly production results and prepare regular reports.
  • Manage productivity-related KPIs and analyze performance against targets and costs (Cost per Unit, CPU).
  • Identify production delays and bottlenecks; propose and support the implementation of improvement actions
  • Participate in data-driven production efficiency improvement activities, including cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Utilize system data (EBS, WMS, DOMO, BO, etc.)
  1. Inventory Management - Data Update & System Management
  • Regularly enter and update inbound/outbound and inventory data in EBS, WMS, and ClubCS (inventory management systems used within ASC).
  • Check system data integrity and promptly correct any errors.
  • Manage inventory-related system operating processes and propose improvements as needed.
  • Coordinate with inventory personnel in the Custom Call team, A/S Call team, and related teams to verify data.
  • Optimize inventory levels, including excess and obsolete inventory management.
  • Manage production scrap, product returns, and physical disposal processes.
  • Review and update inventory management processes, including scrap, returns, and disposal.
  1. Physical Inventory Management
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory counts together with the Picking team, and analyze discrepancies against system inventory.
  • Analyze root causes of inventory discrepancies and establish and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and process approval requests for inventory adjustments, including the monthly inventory adjustment list.
  • Check physical disposal processes and coordinate approvals with responsible employees.
  1. Purchasing / Procurement
  • Calculate material and sub-material requirements based on the production plan and inventory status, and submit purchase requests.
  • Place orders with suppliers and manage delivery lead times and inbound schedules
  • Negotiate and manage unit prices, delivery terms, and quality conditions with suppliers
  • Process costs through purchasing-related systems (purchase orders, goods receipt, etc.)
  • Manage purchasing lead times and optimize order timing to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  1. Continuous Improvement (CI Culture)
  • Support continuous improvement activities and projects across Production and the Call Center.
  • Encourage employee participation in idea generation and continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit regular production-related reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Perform other production/inventory-related tasks as requested by the Senior Manager, Warranty & Production.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Understanding of production management, supply chain management (SCM), and inventory management
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS or SAP) and inventory management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous, accurate approach to work
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Goal-oriented and responsible work attitude

Key Relationships

  • Production Execution Lead, Custom Call Lead, and Warranty Execution Lead.
  • Sales, Demand Planning, Customer Service & Logistics, Finance, Marketing, IT, HR, and other related departments
  • External club-build (assembly) vendors
  • Global Operations teams: KTC, UK, USA, and Japan; Global Quality team; Global IT team.

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Management
  • 7+ years of experience in production management or inventory management
  • Proficient in Office 365 (MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge or certification is preferred.
  • Industrial safety-related certification will be plus
  • English communication skills
