We’re searching for a Bar Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team and deliver warm, attentive, and personalized beverage experiences for our guests at Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Pulchowk.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be

● Providing warm, friendly, and professional service to guests at the bar and other assigned Food & Beverage outlets

● Taking beverage orders accurately and serving drinks promptly while maintaining a high standard of guest service

● Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and service standards

● Assisting with bar setup, mise en place, replenishment, and closing procedures to ensure smooth daily operations

● Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar, equipment, glassware, and service areas

● Checking and replenishing bar stock, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies as required

● Working closely with the F&B, Culinary, Stewarding, and Banquet teams to ensure seamless service during regular operations and events

● Recommending beverages and supporting upselling opportunities to enhance the guest experience and contribute to departmental revenue

● Responding to guest requests, questions, and feedback in a professional and positive manner

● Handling beverages and bar equipment responsibly while following all food safety, hygiene, health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards as required by local regulations

What We need from you

  • ● Diploma or higher education qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or related field preferred
  • ● Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred; freshers with the right attitude and potential may also be considered
  • ● Basic knowledge of beverage service, bar operations, cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages preferred
  • ● Good communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and guest service skills
  • ● Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and develop beverage service knowledge
  • ● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment and manage multiple guest requirements
  • ● Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented bar area
  • ● Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and responsible alcohol service standards as required by local regulations
