Commercial Litigation Paralegal

to join their New York City team. This is a strong opportunity for a litigation paralegal who wants meaningful ownership of matters, direct access to attorneys, and broader hands-on experience in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

What You'll Do as the Paralegal

Support complex commercial litigation matters from early case development through discovery, depositions, arbitration, trial, and resolution.
Take ownership of deadlines, calendars, filings, discovery obligations, and case-related follow-up to keep matters moving.
Proactively flag upcoming needs and follow up with attorneys rather than waiting to be assigned every next step.
Coordinate e-discovery, document collection, review, production, and case file organization.
Prepare materials for depositions, arbitrations, hearings, and trials, including exhibits, binders, witness materials, and supporting documentation.
Assist with court filings, discovery responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and coordination with opposing counsel, vendors, and other outside parties.
Support a varied caseload that may include commercial disputes, plaintiff-side matters, and regulatory or government-related work.
Work directly with multiple attorneys and become a trusted member of the case team.

Must-Haves as the Paralegal

At least 2 years of litigation paralegal experience.
Strong hands-on e-discovery experience.
Experience supporting depositions, arbitration, trial preparation, or other active litigation proceedings.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
A highly proactive working style. You notice what needs to happen next, raise issues early, and follow through without waiting to be prompted.
Strong attention to detail and a track record of producing accurate work in deadline-driven environments.
Team-oriented mindset and comfort collaborating closely with multiple attorneys.
Ability to work in the New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.

Nice-to-Haves as the Paralegal

Complex commercial litigation experience.
Experience within a large law firm, litigation boutique, or similarly fast-paced environment.
Plaintiff-side litigation experience.
Direct trial or arbitration experience.
Experience managing substantial document productions and discovery workflows.
Familiarity with Clio, iManage, Microsoft Office, or comparable legal technology platforms.
Comfort working with emerging AI-enabled legal tools and an interest in learning new technology.

This Role Offers

Base compensation from $90,000-$150,000 depending on depth and relevance of experience, with more junior candidates considered at a lower compensation level.
Overtime eligibility.

Hybrid schedule with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.
